Jai Santoshi Maa is a popular Hindi movie released in 2015. The movie has gone on to become one of the highest earning movies in Indian cinema. The film was directed by Omung Kumar and produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Maneesh Sharma, Abhishek Anand Luthra. The cast included Nushrat Bharucha, Varun Dhawan, Huma Qureshi, Zayed Khan and others. It tells the story of how Santoshi Maa creates life on Earth after being asked for help by humans to destroy an alien force that invaded India many years ago. The movie has been dubbed into English, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati and other regional languages. The story is about the Goddess Santoshi Maa who appears in the life of an ordinary man named Aman Mathur who is married to Gauri Mathur. The story is about how Santoshi Maa helps Aman to escape from being trapped by an alien force that wants to kill him. Santoshi Maa gives Aman a boon to destroy this evil force for good. A battle ensues between the Goddess and the aliens that have taken over Earth many years ago. Aman then visits different locations that are crores of years old with the help of Santoshi Maa. At one such location which is dateless on Earth, he meets a blue faced woman called Sanjayi who has been on the Earth for 12 years. She tells him about her time and how she came to be there. The two of them come across some alien drawings and they realise that the aliens may still be around. Aman then goes on to search some more places for any sign of alien activity or anomalies in the history of the world using his power of awareness. At one such location where Aman finds a temple, he is captured by the forces but Santoshi Maa saves him at the last moment just before they get executed by an alien spaceship that was hovering over them. The two of them enter a war zone where the aliens are fighting with the humans. There, Aman meets the woman in blue and learns about herself and her past. From there, he learns about how she gets imprisoned in a human's body and she has been trying to escape for many years now. Aman also meets another alien woman named Anjali who is known as the Goddess of Earth. She tells him that she was to have been wed to Aman but he met Santoshi Maa instead. She gives Aman a power ring which helps him destroy all aliens on earth. The two of them then go into battle against the aliens who have been causing problems for humans for many years now. The movie ends with Santoshi Maa giving him the power ring that has the power of life and death.
